Bio
Cameron McArthur (b. 1997) is a composer, educator, and multi-instrumentalist from the North-East of England. His work centres on the experience of momentum in music, exploring perception, implication, and expectation. Fascinated by musical motion, Cameron experiments with new ways to harness and shape energy in his compositions.

Currently pursuing a PhD at the University of York under Thomas Simaku and Martin Suckling, Cameron's research delves into these themes, fueling his innovative approach to music. His compositions have been showcased at Metz Arsenal, Convergence @ DMU, Twisted Spruce Foundation, and Sound Thought Festival, and he​ has collaborated with esteemed groups such as Psappha, Ensemble Intercontemporain, Diotima Quartet, Ligeti Quartet, The Arc Project, and Terra Invisus.
